I have been studying Magic forever. I am not "The1stMagician" for nothing!
Not really sure where to go from here! Just looking for a place to share ideas and get a different perspective than just my own singular viewpoint.
I help other Magicians here in the midwest with ideas and performance tips when they require it. I have been performing for some time and have a fairly extensive library so I am the one they call on when they need some help developing a new trick or when they desire to try and make an effect their own. Sometimes they may need help with a technique in order to make an effect work. I am always happy to share my wisdom.
I am certainly not implying I am all knowing or my way is the only way. We share ideas. I share with them what I know and any ideas I can come up with on the fly. They are certainly free to use them or not. I make certain they understand I am not attached to these ideas and they may use or discard them as desired.
When I was new to magic I was fortunate enough to have a Professional Magician allow me to learn from him and he was very liberal with his time. I try to return that favor to others who may not know as much as I do or who might need a different point of view or some assistance in acquiring a specific sleight or effect for performance.
Anyway...I hope to learn from as well as contribute to everyone's enjoyment of Magic!
