Hello World,

Magic is a fantasitc hobby.  If you are boared and looking for something to occupy you restless time, try magic.  Most of the public librarys still contain a magic area most of them include books with titles like "Now You See It Now You Dont" by Bill Tarr.  Pick up a good magic book, and sit down to learn an effect or two you will be very amazed at how fast the time goes!

Give it a try, let us know.

Any magicians out there that can recomend a good hobby book, please post reply.

Handbook to Mental Magic and Royal Road to Card Magic are the two I started with.

I've gotten a lot of mileage out of Pogue's "Magic For Dummies".
He assumes the reader knows nothing going in, but manages not to talk down to his audience.
Good, solid stuff.

I agree, this is a great book for the beginner or hobbyist.

Dont judge a book by its title or cover right!

Well there is still one big difference between them and thats the fact that Magic is still around competitively. None of those cards remind me of Yu gi oh in the least bit but I never wasted my time learning to play a game with absolutely no return so you may be right.
